Yes. The gateway initiates an outbound connection to our server. No router configuration, NAT traversal or static IP is needed. The customer's network stays fully closed.
Our DIN-rail gateway (sold separately) or any Linux device running OpenWrt. The gateway starts from € 99 and fits into a standard switchboard on 24 V DC power.
Yes. We use WireGuard — a modern VPN protocol with ChaCha20 encryption. Each device has a unique keypair generated during manufacturing. Data never leaves the encrypted tunnel.
Yes. Once the WireGuard tunnel is active, enter the PLC's IP address directly in TIA Portal — exactly as you would on a local network. We support S7‑1200, S7‑1500, LOGO! and all devices with an ETH interface.
Infrastructure runs on Hetzner servers in Germany (EU). We process data in accordance with GDPR. Data does not leave the EU.
The gateway automatically attempts to reconnect every 30 seconds. On failure you receive an email or SMS alert. The customer's local network continues operating without interruption.
